More stock for the RHBR

At Stoneleigh I bought a lot, considering I don't have a railway and haven't run my current locos & rolling stock! The IP type 2 Quarrymans, apart from the roof and the wheels still need some painting.
I've also got an IMR G van and a WHR No.6 that I should be building over the week and also I'll be painting various items. And I need to add over 1000 words to an essay due in tomorrow. Phew not a lot to do then!

I've finished the type 2 and I'm pretty happy with it if I do say so myself. I've also built built & painted the G van, I think the lettering isn't too bad although I may redo one of the doors at some point. The WHR coach is now on the rainy day list.
My fleet should get an outing on Easter Sunday for the opening of the York Model Engineering Society's 16mm line but I might take them out sooner for some testing. Exciting times ahead!

Now this sounds good!
I'll probably be popping over there every now and then when I'm at uni later on in the year!

I've finally nearly finished my Swift Sixteen 4 wheel observation coach, I might be tempted to build more Swift Sixteen stock in the future, I'll see if I need more coaches. The only part that has nearly had me going insane was the glazing, I'd either scratch the surface of the glazing, get glue on it or cut it too small!
Apart from some more glazing, the vacuum pipes (a bit pointless as none of my other locos or stock have vacuum pipes!)
I ordered a IP shorty brake van from Trackshack last Tuesday, it arrived on Wednesday morning, that's what I call service! It's taken me a week to build it as I've been busy with University work. It was an uneventful build, the only moment was when I glued the springs on different sides of the solebar!
I know the 'rotten' wood look rubbish but I can't be bothered to repair it so I decided to draw attention to it!
Apart from glueing and glazing I want to do a job lot of lamp irons using brass strip.
