A model of the workshop, or Gweithdy in Minffordd station car park on the Ffestiniog Railway. It is being made out of plywood which is then being covered with Brandbright corrugated sheet. It will be half relief to fit in as one of the buildings at Afonglas station. Here is a pic of progress so far.
One thing I havn't mentioned, it isn't being built by me, this is my dads work, so all credit goes to him

I've always wondered what those magnety things are for. Buildings looking good at the mo.

LOL, I'm not blonde - honest. I blame my brother's photo taking skills and the fact that unlike him I'm doing a degree in creative writing not (if he gets the grades) mechanical engineering.

Part 2 of the update of ANLR projects and my dad has slowly been carrying on with the Gweithdy, although it has stopped now as we need some more corrigated plastic from Brandbright
It is photographed next to my 00 gauge layout, which at the moment doesn't get a lot of use!

Well dad can't go any further on the Gweithdy untill we get some more corrugated plastic. Not put off by this, he has started on another building, an engine shed, again for Afonglas station. Can anyone have a guess at whats its based on? (riveresk your barred from this!!!!!)

Its dads shortened version of the old engine shed, I wasn't sure of the likness which is why I wanted to see if anyone could guess what it was.

It'd have to be really long for it to be the old loco shed, I can see the resembelance of the doorway, clearly based on the current re-build! Nice building.
I'd love to buy a nice big garden in the future and make a railway with as many Ffestiniog features as possible, including a certain somone' house
