If you have some big big train stock and you want to attach it to 3 link chain stock do this simple conversion which allows you to still use both systems.

Drill a small hole in the thick part of the knuckle and put in a 1 inch nail (without a head) or panel pin. use that to hook the chain onto and hey presto a double type coupling. Photo to follow!

I actually took the couplings off, "plated" over the holes with Plasticard, then heated a nail with a blowtorch and melted it into place.

Has your camera got a 'macro' setting Bryan? The symbol that looks like a flower? That may make the closeups a little more focused to see

I did that when I needed to fix a broken exhaust on my Vanguards Capri 2.8. Heating things up is far better than glue
