Lovely pics, a fitting tribute to John
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

I think it's time for a proper update on here now...

...as seen on the other page, earlier in the year Pheonix was sent into the works for a full overhaul, and hasn't really seen much action since being re-built due to issues with reversing. However, as a hope to see how things will go, Pheonix has been out and about on Santa Specials with Britomart on what is quite rare double heading for the line!

Cheers Jim!

Mr Bond - Sort of, the first one that was build sort of fell apart, and then was raided for spares (couplings). It's now awaiting new couplings again to run once more!

Very atmospheric pictures there. You could use them as Christmas cards!

I do like the BR blue livery on Britomart with the double arrows.
If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer!

Well, it's been a while since I last updated this. So long ago in fact I now have a bionic jaw, gotten lost in a few engine rooms, missed my own wedding and moved house with a suitable enough garden to actually put down a proper railway...
