Another MOTY entry

Post by taliesin001 » Fri Apr 09, 2010 6:34 pm

I have just recieved my grandads entry for this years MOTY and have taken some pics.It is a model of maid marian as it was when last used in 1965 (details on these things change on every photograph!) and is entirely scratch built, apart from the pressure gauge, spring castings, chain and plates. It has taken a very long time, especially as it is so small. As you can see time ran out for it to be painted so unfortunately it will lose out on some of the marks and probably isn't in with a chance of winning, but it will be entered anyway. One photo shows the comparison with the earl, I couldn't resist!

Wow, that looks great.

I'd give that a prize regardless of it not being painted.

What a great looking loco build. Fantastic stuff. Should get extra points for being unpainted as you can see that nothing has been covered up in the build with paint.
Lovely stuff.
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.

Exact copy of the above. It often looks like this -//- or even -"- or something like that used in log entries for example in the date column.
