I now have all external and interior walls finished and now detailing the interior just completed a token machine and telephone and now working on fireplace. Does anyone know if there is a wc in this building as on my visit I was unable to access the two rear rooms where I think there is one!!

Looking at old pics there was a screen on the outside so there could have been outside urinals and a ladies on the inside.

Certainly no WC in there now, and I'm not sure there ever was or even a water supply for it. Gents urinals are beyond the water tower, and are still used by caught-short loco crews.

The carcass of the chimney is now constructed and awaiting the addition of its brickwork. I obtained these bricks from a dolls house company and thinking there were not to scale have never used them but to my surprise if they are turned on their sides they do scale up. Im looking forward to doing this hope it turns out alright.

Can you believe when drawing out the courses for the brickwork I have the same number of rows as the prototype. I needed to count these to establish the height of the chimney when I did my survey so it was intentional. How far you have to go in building prototypes but Im not a rivet counter as some are.

I know what it's like. I add simple bits and pieces and get more and more carried away! :D It then of course ends up costing much more than I thought.
