saw that, personally I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole unless your prepared to strip it down. With merlins you either get a good one or a pig!
The ossy ones have always seemed a little more troublesom than their fixed cylinder counter parts.

It was the ossy cylinders that stopped me putting it on "watch" - my (t)rusty old mamod is quite enough for me!

I quite like the shape though. Do you know which model it is??

PS. copped your TR stock pics on the other thread. Very nice! :D

Aah, Dremel wrist! The very mention brings back tingly memories

Actually, I've just put mine away! I've just been enlarging the hole in the front beam of the Mamod to take the retaining nut for a replacement centre buffer after cutting off the excess length of thread.

The old Corris station's always been a favourite of mine. I think it's the shed roof and retaining wall. Paul Sherwoods adaptation of it looks nice on the M&NGR.

Coor, corris station is one of my favorites. It is just jam packed with unusuall charactor mostly brought out by that wall along the track. I like the over track canopy alot as well.

I have no idea what that is, but it's very pretty. If I was better off it'd be worth considering as a rebuild project with "proper" cylinders...

With Merlin's reputation I'd have to think very carefully before hitting the bid button mind, especially as they tend to go for rather a lot on eBay.
