So you only have R/c on the reverser, I have friend who has a Wrekin like that, you have to be very carefull with how you set the regulator. Having said that you had it running very well on the video

That engine is coming along nicely.
As you say once it is run in it should be a good runner and puller.

Yeah, it does seem fairly smooth without it on the reg. I just want to make it have a bigger chuff and more control.

Yeah, I would want the extra control on my line, I have a summit on my line on a 3 foot radius curve, 1 in 100 up to 1 in 100 down, trains can really fly once going downhill

Hi all,
To restart this topic, I did some improvements to my Edrig today (and Columbine). I painted the tanks tops and added filler caps to Colmbine, and added these extras to Edrig:
Number 2 to the beams,
Name plates,
tool box,
Reg handle on cut down valve,
And I have started on the gold lining after taking these pics.

Cheers! This is good fun all modifying our Edrigs/Caradoc together, we can nick ideas off each other!

Fantastic
How did you get such a good wood finish on the toolbox? I've just fitted one to my Millie and painted it brown, but yours looks like it has been stained, with a grain effect
Look forward to seeing more improvements

As I'm doing art for GCSE at school, I have a good selection of acrylic paints, and using a good brush, I just slapped it on cross-ways. I was suprised how good it looked myself! I did all this today!
