Baldwin Gas Mechanical Locomotive looks well detailed and will cost around 300 pounds for the manual version.
To go with the bug boxes I suppose. I am not a battery electric fan but it does look a good model!

Now that looks the bees knees, I'll have to see what the bank balance is like when it's released.

You have to admin, this is quite nice,

no doubt that sillybilly has something to critisise about it!

My criticism is that I'd rather it in the current condition, but it's a Baldwin and that's enough for me, I'll see what Stoneleigh brings...
But then again I might just be happy with the real thing, even though I still haven't mastered the whole clutch throttle thing!

If I did get one I might have to spray it Moelwyn red given there will be a few green ones.

my only critisim is that i would prefer it in metal.
i am one of these people who things if its metal, it should be metal, if its wood, it should be wood.
maybe with a few exceptions.
however
its a very nice model, and depending on the price, i may be tempted to buy one

If its gauge convertable then i think i may just have a birthday present lined up (I've still got plenty of money for stoneleigh)

But like Will, It will have to be red like the real thing is now. would make a nice works shunter and i bet it has a fair amount of power.

I thought Moelwyn was green currently, or have they re-painted it since summer

In the summer it was taken to bits, overhauled and re-painted red, look in the end of 2009 album on my Facebook.

Looks very nice indeed, my favourite diesel is Moelwyn (although I also love the old Simplexes and Rustons with the two round tanks, but which is best........... )

remains to be seen how hardy resin bar frames are. I would assume they are a tad brittle

Otherwise, I reckon I'll be getting at least one! Great that it's available in 32mm, not so for the poor misguided fools that model 45mm gauge

Obviously nothing near comparable to the Slaters one, but it costs just a bit more than the Slaters bogies alone!

Having looked at the tractor a bit closer really I'd like a kit version so that I could modify it a bit.
