Highlights from NWAG steamups 2009

Post by laalratty » Thu Jan 07, 2010 10:45 am

After quite a long wait for a reason I know not I have finally got round to uploading my video featuring clips of steamups that didn't get their own videos during 2009.

Enjoy, and I hope you don't find the credits music too cheesy!!!
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

Excellent video and the titles were full-flavoured mature Cheddar!

What is it with you lot in the North West? I didn't see a passenger train less than 5 coaches: I'm only going to HAVE 5 when I've finished my building programme!

Liked the sheep wagons which looked vaguely familiar - who built them?

If i have grown to know the NWAG lot like i think i have then it is because they dont believe in summerlands chuffers so we prove that if you put a decent length train on the back you can hear the chuff!
Thanks,

We believe in nice big trains here, or certainly I do, ideally I'd have them all up to Ffestiniog length (6 +)

I think the wagons you are thinking of are cattle wagons. They are SLRmidge's and I think they are mostly scratchbuilt although 1 or 2 might be IP engineering ones

Why is it sheep wagons are open and cattle wagons have roofs? Surely sheep are more flammable
