Obviously I'm not the only one who has noticed that, then
He DOES actually build it all himself, tho' I think Dad stands and looks over his shoulder. He also races model cars and plays the guitar (not all at once).

If he could then I'd ask what Nigel has been feeding him on

I had to drill a very small hole in the tiebar of a set of Peco points. (It needed a new spring, and the rusted end of the old spring was not readily extricable, so a new hole was needed.)

I now have a very small hole in the dining room table. So be warned!

Hmmm this topic is getting Bungled a bit too much for my liking :?
Well I got the interior finished (for the time being anyway) tonight with the fitting of the 4 tables

Over the last week I've also completed the panelling on the ends, and also on the guards duckets, which have also been fitted. This means that the body is at the stage where it can be painted

Erm this one isn't a buffet car, although the original did run for a time with a counter I'm modelling it in its present condition

FR coaches are a bit small for trolleys, it is brought to you on a tray.

Very nice, however it doesn't look like you've modelled the steps in the floor at the ends to get over the bogies, I think you'd better start again Christopher. ;)

I wouldn't - I'd end up getting killed when it falls off the PTLR viaduct...

Bu99er!!!
This is why All the details on the stock of the Westwood & Loscoe is 100% prototypically correct :D - any coaches bought from "other" lines might end up being modified at Brinsley Lodge works ;)

Quite true, I wouldn't like to ride in your carriages either though Pete,
I'd end up being killed coming down death hill....

After a bit of a lull whilst uni exams took priority I've been getting on with Number 12 again

Image
The coach exterior has been primed, and although it can't be seen too well, the first couple of coats of off white have been applied as well. There is also some white to be applied to the interior

Image
Some small details to go in the guards compartment, probably not present on the real one but something that "lifts" the interior.

Not worth taking a pic, but I've got the white finished and the first coat of green has been put on one side, so the end is slowly coming into sight. I'll have to get round to ordering some bogies, wheels and couplings
