Brandbright bogies, the simple plate ones with no detailing but are rugged and dependable
Today number 12 entered service :D

With its compatriate FfR van 4 (ANLR number 9)

And now the pic I really like!

A full Ffestiniog train that can actually be run on the FfR, including liveries (well apart from a few red ends!)
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

This coach is on my list to build. You have made an excellent job of it and I commend you on your efforts. Well done! With regards to the bogies from Brandbright I have detailed a set to look close to the prototype of the FR Im going to try a make a casting so I can produce them in resin and just glue them on the plate bogies so saving time.

This coach looked excellent in the flesh when I saw it yesterday and it ran perfectly too.
Well done. 8)

My IP engineering roof fitting jig gets its first use since I got it for christmas. It made fitting the roof much easier and I wish I had had had something like it for my previous carriages
I dont quiete understand wath the benefits are of this jig. Doesnt the radius of the jig need to match the roof?

The weight ontop of the roof pushes it into the jig, that holds the roof to the shape of the coach's radius so the glue can set, so when removed, it holds inplace.
