Relining Edrig
Relining Edrig
Well, I thought it was time my Edrig deserved something better than Trimline. And instead of forking out money I'm trying to save for a Linda, I decided to have a go at it myself. Andy told me Edding pens were good, as he lined his out with one, so I purchased a few and had a go... These are my results:
I think I could do with getting some clear varnish just to protect the line? I tried rubbing it with my finger to test it, and it doesnt come off so maybe not?

Lining
IMHO, I believe you have done a near perfect job there and you
should be as proud as Punch with your results, I do not believe
the Black is overpowering as you suggest!.
After seeing your handiwork I am certainly going to have a go at
my own Locomotives,
Thank you for the Insperation!.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys, I'm glad to know I did well! I wasn't sure if it looked good, as some of the lines are a bit 'wonky', and a little rough in places, but after all, it's a narrow gauge locomotive!

On a different, off topic not to Matt, are you coming along to the steam up tomorra?
And, as you've probably noticed by now, nay. I'm still in the Shire!
