Now thats all fine and dandy takig engines into school but it has its obvious drawbacks so when I was asked to do it again I suggested that they visit my railway and workshop.
That was a couple of weeks ago and the class has just left.
A teacher took photos while I did the whole teaching thing so the pics arent up to my standard (there poo poo!) so dont complain about blurry photos.
When they arrived I had arranged a little table of bits and pieces that I wanted to show first, it included a couple of pop pop boat (who doesnt love pop pop boats?), some clockwork trains and some steamers.

but then whatya know, Vincent breaks down! Somethings up with the burner again, I suspect a blocked jet so it was battery only (didnt have enough time to prepare anything else).
James looks after the loco while I prepare a train
James showed the most interest so I told him how to start the engine and turn the power on.
just turn it up a little more lad...
and thats that, theres already talk of another class visiting in the spring when its warmer. :D
