Nice pair!
I still need to fire my Edrig for the first time soon (when I can get mum to order the god damn gas conversion thingy and steam oil!)

In the mean time, you could use those yellow cylinders of 'Schwann' lighter gas (butane) probably available from your local shop or supermarket... The have the appropriate adaptors. I believe Will, our chairman, uses this method?

I would go and use that, but my parents are very iffy about things like that, so I just need to pester them, cause I've got loads of butane gas cans at home anyway
I'll probably just wait til a really cold, frosty morning, then run her, that'll be interesting!

I always fill up with pre-warmed water!
So I cheat! The quickiest I've ever fired up one of my Mamods from cold to SV blow off is 4mins!

i was using the meths burner on that run, and it was about 2-3 degrees!
That day was then I crimped the exhaust pipe to give a better chuff, and it worked quite well!

Iffy, it's the same just, but you don't have to rely on a threaded seal between the can and the adapter, so really it's safer.

Go to uni and grown a beard. Shave and have a haircut a couple of days after you've got home and they'll then forgive you anything.
