Well the good news came this weekend. Sir Robin was bolted back together and a fire lit to check the paint work withstood the heat. which it did. So now Ive got to dismember it agin for the lining. I had hoped to have it ready for the the steam up at the fairfield railway but im not to sure that thats going to happen.

Well that means you've got 1 1/2 months, my guess is that you don't have much faith in the speed of your lining skills cecil

I suppose it depends on how basic/intricate the design of lining is?!?! Add to the time doing (and revising for) a fireman's test, working, sleeping, running the odd train, being ill, doing silly jobs for other people etc, I think 1.5 months is a fair estimate!

Incidentally, I have been lucky enough to spy the beauty, and you are all in for a treat!

I'm afraid he's not going to say untill the Fairfield Railway steamup, (unless he gives me a big suprise!) but I reckon it's quite a nice scheme

I can neither confirm, nor deny the loco is pink. However, I can confirm it is not Emerald Green, nor is it Bling Bling Blue (aka Rover Tahiti Blue [Pearlescent])

Hope this helps guys!!! Mwahahahahahaha!!
