The best way to model metal is to use metal! Brill!

"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

Welcome to the forum Dave!

That looks superb! You have talent there, especially doing it in THREE hours!
I've seen your stuff on eBay, really nice, I was tempted but I have an IP railcar already... But I also think, have you considered offering them in a basic complete R-T-R form? I think that could bring more interest?

Hi

Just back from a week in Devon

Many thanks for you comments Pete , i think i will finish them off and then try again.

I do not have a railway just a circle of track, i get more enjoyment from making the models than running them.

I worked with Graham Lamb at Salisbury for a few years he got me hooked.

I live in Eastleigh, work in Winchester as a booking office clerk.

Regards Dave

Hi

Some more pictures of loco , i have made the front so that its slides forward and will come off all together.

I have bolted it together as super glue not strong enough however i will have to glue the roof on

Looking fantastic! All it needs now is a proper diesel engine inside and it'll be just a miniature version, made in the same materials!
