Lonsdaler, as the winner of the Dec 2025 Gallery, has proposed:

'Little People'. Pictures of the inhabitants of our railways.

I'll add that we want pics of people actually on the railway not just posed on your work bench, etc!

Rules as always. Closing date for entries will be Midnight UK time on 1st March 2026.

I like this game so try to enter each time a new subject is chosen.
On this occasion the best I can offer is my Fire Engine crew, for which I sculpted new headgear and great coats for period attire....

Just so I can be prepared for the next subject perhaps Durley can give us a clue?

I must be honest and say that it was Durley's excellent series on producing figures that inspired my choice of theme. However, I think the scope of the theme is wide enough to encompass not just the most realistic figures, but also the context in which they appear.
I love the fire crew Peter, definitely candidates for best dressed firefighter,.😊

I have lots of model figures, but these are my favorite little people on my railway! It might be a bit of a stretch to call them "inhabitants" but whenever we're outside in the summer they can often be found playing around the station.

Good to see "not to scale" little people so here I go:

My daughter on her first 5" gauge run. She was one month old then:

Not much later she had found a nice place on my goods train, moving me to the second wagon:

I thought I'd have to sit this one out but after some ruminating whilst in a traffic jam... I'll offer:

Aerotram: The Directors' Cut [and Run!]

This unusual vehicle is seen here in a posed publicity shot with two of the Directors of the WLB and the Company Secretary at the local station. For some strange reason, these three insisted on stepping off before traction tests began...

On her 4th birthday she took her guests round the garden track on my class 216.
(I have a remote coltrolled emergency stop, just in case but never had to use it).
She´s 8 now and practises driving the steamers.
