A few explanatory notes might be of interest:
a) You may notice that column B on the spreadsheet is hidden. This is the list of names of individual contributors and is hidden for privacy.
b) There are several lines of £1 "Testing" entries back in Feb 2024. These are the Mods testing the new ( at that time) Paypal donation system and were left in as donations.
c) The blank red row is the point at which we switched from the old 123-Reg/GoDaddy host to the new Zume Host and literally draws a line under them!
d) The astute amongst you may notice that the last 12 month renewal from the old Host was £146.24 and the new Zume figure is £240.00 for 12 months, a significant increase obviously. However there are also 2 figures of £54.25 and £48.12 for so-called upgrades which 123-Reg conned us into paying to 'solve' the downtime issues and which as we know achieved nothing. Adding those three figures together actually comes to slightly more than the Zume cost and so far we have had markedly better service from Zume and believe it is the best option available at present.
Edited 09/09/25 to add: 123-Reg have just tried to charge us £59.99 for 12 months SSL renewal. This is auto-renewed for free, with Zume, which makes them even better value for money.
e) Overall the funds are pretty healthy, with £234.33 in the bank. However this is not quite enough to renew for another year in 12 months time, even if there are no price increases, so we will have to ask for new donations between now and then.
