To go with the new Isle of Man Bogie Coaches...
Engineering sample that will be on show at the W&L weekend. There are a few minor painting issues to correct for the production model (including the buffer beam in proper "Bufer Beam Red"). For those that see the prototype please be aware that internally some work is going to be done on the cab layout to ensure ease of operation.
Interestingley this loco will have an 80psi boiler pressure. Should be out in 2010...

I agree, I don't think the tanks are big enough, and they are possibly a bit too high. That looks more like one of the earlier engines. Mannin had the largest water tanks of the lotDLRdan wrote:Its a nicley detailed model and i like the lining on the pony truck, is it just me or is there something that doesnt look quite right

Aye - if anything she's more akin to Hutchinson during the '80s and '90s. Having dug out a prototype photo, I'd say:
1. The chimney is definately too tall.
2. The dome is possibly too tall.
3. The boiler needs to be just slightly bigger and the tanks just slightly taller.
4. The rain strips on the cab roof need to be much smaller.
Not a lot to be changed, then...!
