Looking for suggestions for paints for construction machinery..
JCB yellow, which is possibly a little bit orange, is the type of thing I am after.

Has to be acrylic - as a catch-all term.

Thank you,
Phil Partridge.

How about Hycote Filler Primer with a matt lacquer? I have used this on some of my Rocket builds and it looks OK.
I don't have a JCB nearby to check it against.... sorry.

Peter, did you use that on your Hiab-type crane arm?
Or did that come straight off 'something else'?

Sorry but I can't quite identify the Hiab type crane arm you describe, but I do have another example...

This is possibly a better colour match in natural daylight.

Thank you..

Why could I not find that? - Isn't the Interweb, sometimes annoying?

To be annoying there are actually two JCB "Yellows" and earlier more "Lemon Yellow" which was phased out around 1988 then they went for a more orange tone.

A quick search and I found these airbrush paints if that helps?

Acrylic (looks like the later colour)
