Re: Merry Christmas
Thank you Graeme, that is a kind thought and a lovely traditional image. Communication around the world now is so fast it shows how far advanced in time you are from us here in UK. We still have more than 24 hours to go before Christmas Day arrives here but the message is well received and much appreciated.
A very Merry Christmas to you, and all members, I wish everyone a happy and productive 2024, cheers to you all.

The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

Re: Merry Christmas
By my calculations, you're 16 hours ahead of me... we've still got a few hours to go before Christmas Eve even starts. Merry Christmas to all y'all living in the future!
Re: Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas (finally) to those of us living on the slow side of the globe!
Re: Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone!
Sorry, I've not been here much of late, lots going on, but I'm looking forward to catching up - and maybe getting some modelling done - over the next week or so...

Re: Merry Christmas
Had a visitor to the railway on Christmas Day
A Kookaburra aka Laughing Jackass, Ha Ha pigeon
He was a bit wet from the big thunderstorm we had Christmas Eve.

Re: Merry Christmas
Do they still "sing" during the summer and all year or is it only during the spring?

Re: Merry Christmas
They make their sound all year round.
They are most vocal in the morning and the afternoon.
In fact I was playing lawns bowls last Friday afternoon and it started raining and we stayed out on the green in the rain; 2 of then started and people were saying "are they laughing at us?"

Every morning, 45 minutes before sunrise. I don't always see the funny side!
