Where to buy a horse?

My next restoration project needs a new Aveling & Porter horse:

This one has lost its tail.
Height is 3.1 cm.

No 3D prints please as this one goes right onto the smokebox door.

I suggest you try this company... they make castings for model steam locomotives in various scales and I have used them (even visited their wonderful workshop in the West Midlands) and they are extremely helpful.

The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

There are several 'real' ones listed on ebay ( search Aveling invicta), although they would be too big and heavy for what you want. However you could use those pictures to hand craft a replacement tail to fit on to yours.
