Lady Anne DJB Whistle

Post by mark_hassall » Thu Nov 30, 2023 10:54 am

Hi,

Hoping for a bit of advice on fitting a DJB whistle to a Roundhouse Lady Anne.

I have a Hitec Ranger 3 Sky Remote control which currently controls the direction and speed. This system has a third (currently unused) channel that I could use for the whistle control.

Has anyone used this third channel and/or able to advise a servo to use for the whistle control?

Many thanks
Mark

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum.

I would suggest using a metal geared small servo for a whistle as they are less prone to breaking under heat and stress. As for fitting it, I have never done for a whistle so I will leave that to someone who knows the task better.

In the meantime, this might help? viewtopic.php?t=12218
