I am trying to replicate Rik's Peckforton replacement couplings for rolling stock.
Rik proposes 0.9 mm Phosphor Bronze wire for the coupling hook - I guess 21 SWG (0.032” / 0.813mm) is close enough for "Govt. Work" as they say?
I have found a source for 21 SWG in that well known auction site at about £4.50 for 2 ft. I guess this will do the job?
Any suggestions?

Re: Source for Phosphor Bronze wire?
Sounds good to me. The gauge isn't critical. I've used thinner PB and it's just as successful.
Good luck with your couplings. I hope they work out OK for you.
