New Loco enters Traffic as does a new whistle wagon !

Post by LMS-Jools » Sun Jul 26, 2009 11:01 am

"Lady of the Lake" runs across Little Morecambe Cob on a fast passenger service, announcing its progress thanks to the Silverdale Light Railway Norths new whistle wagon.

I do belive it is the wagon whistling and not the engine! There is something wrong here!  :?  :sign6:
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

That was brilliant! I agree the whistle isn't coming from the engine, but the loco looks great.

How about, at some point, we try and have a Lawley ralley?

booooo get a proper whistle!   Nah its very good! What if you fitted it in the tender, then you can have it without the wagon so you can run any rake of coaches etc.?

lol  to clarify the electronic whistle is in the box van and is activated by magnet or ramp between the rails. It belongs to the Silverdale Light Railway North.

The Locomotive is an LMS engine and does in fact have a steam whistle of its own but this clip was to demonstrate the whistle wagon.   ;)    8)

"Lady of the Lake" now in full service slowly hauls an evening passenger service up Hest Bank on the LMSR.
