Confession
I have a confession to make (will would know of this).
At the Llechfan garden railway, I did some stupid things.
I ran my kerr stuart anti-clockwise on the upper level, when my engine was about to collide I did a stupid pause like "how am I going to resolve this" & worst of all, I caused a brand new Bertie to tip over & get chipped because I didn't re-set the points.
But remember, it was the first time I ran a loco at a proper garden railway & I had fun but I rather cocked up so sorry to those who've been affected.

I know of this too...
Your loco is in desperate need of a DPDT switch to make it go backwards!

I might put RC in another Locolines kit when I get the money. I'll salvage it from an RC car & put it in a Fariemaed diesel (as I said to the owner of an RC fitted bagley (who told me to listen to peoples comments).TonyW wrote:I know of this too...

From the Llechfan Garden Railway web site (which I happen to run):SLRmidge wrote:Im staying in Tywyn for a few days in September. Do you know when its open for me to use?
There are also some special events during the summer months - 30 August is the remaining one for this year.Subject to the weather and individual availability, there is usually someone in Llechfan Garden most Sundays through the year, and Thursday evenings through the summer months
There's a contact form on the web site, or you can find contact details in 16mm Exchange if you're a 16mm Assoc. member. Drop a note to say when you are going to be in the area. Steve Thorpe (who is on the Talyllyn's staff as electrician) will make you very welcome, as will any of the other group members who live locally or are in the area when you visit. Steve kindly mended my Wren when I was down last autumn and the pressure gauge syphon failed. (Perhaps the smallest steam loco to be repaired at Pendre?)
Please, do take note of what it says on the web site about access; the garden line is across the tracks from the platform at Wharf Station:
Please ask platform staff at Tywyn Wharf station for directions to the garden railway. Do not cross the running lines to get to the layout unless supervised by Talyllyn Railway staff.
