soundcards for scenic effects

Big holidays are coming, so it's time to plan a few projects. I am making a jigstone building for my boss this year. I wonder if someone could remind me where to get the soundcard for scenic effects, like sounds from a train platform for animal sounds, etc. I usually bought these in the past, but I forgot the vendor's name. Thanks.

I've bought from www.modelsounds.co.uk in the past under their "Master Blaster" name tag. Looking very briefly at their web site, their offerings do seem to have changed dramatically since I last bought from them. But then that was over five years ago.

Thanks all for the information. I also found last night these soundboards from itt products (https://ittproducts.com). Overall, these sites provide us with more flexibility depending on our design. It seems I will have a fun time working in my garage during the holidays.

I'm always horrified by the price of these (£40) - but then I suppose you're paying for the convenience of having someone to gather and edit the sound files and put them into the MP3 player. Being a bit of a cheapskate, I prefer to do it myself (for a fraction of the cost).

These mp3 players cost around £10 each (inc. SD card) and put out 3W of sound, which is more than enough to my mind. I've noticed there's a similar product on eBay at the moment for £8.81 for three!

I've explained how I created my sound effects - including downloading them for free in one of my blog posts if you fancy having a go yourself.

Thanks, Rik, for this genius work. Somehow, you have so many projects on your website that I missed this one. I will learn about this project from you during the coming holidays.
