And for some vintage steam action, my newly aquired Midland Railway Compound. Made by Bing for Bassett-Lowke back in the 1920s. She is a alcohol fired pot boiler, I am using Bioethanol as it does not soot up the paint work, very little smell to it unlike the denatured alcohol sold at hardware stores in the states. I am running half throttle pulling 2 heavy LGB coaches(all I have at the moment are LGB coaches). 3/4 throttle and above its off to the races. Run time is 10-15min till fuel is gone. She carries way more water than fuel. I have a line on 5 Tenmille LMS Stanier coaches that are already built and painted. But still trying to find 3 or 4 of the vintage tinplate coaches. You can see my new tinplate station and glass canopy that just got installed. Station is a Lionel std gauge item and the canopy is a reproduction of an Ives product by Pride Lines. Enjoy the short video.

Oh wow. What a beautiful model! I would be happy to watch a much longer video of this engine running. The large drivers and low rpm make the motion look very realistic in action. Well done finding that.

Thanks Keith, Once I get some proper coaches for her to pull, or at an upcoming steam up pulling my friends coaches, I will take a longer video of her running. Once she is going and you get the throttle set, I can just sit back and watch or take video.

Long overdue, but here is a video of her pulling a friends rake of Mercian Models LNWR coaches at a show our steam group set up at this past fall.

What a handsome machine. I really could watch her run all day. Thanks for posting that.
