Aye, the dearer stuff is a lot better than that dark green turf one usually sees for sale. I saw a pair of thongs in a shop yesterday - the soles were topped with that cheap turf.

Welcome to the forum, Fred! Hell of a setup you have, and the hand sanitiser tank is great, too.

Just what I was thinking. The artificial grass seems to work well in this situation

I have metres of it left over from when they turfed around my pool, I asked "what do you do with the offcuts?" and was told "we usually bin it" so I asked for any offcuts they could spare and they unloaded their offcut bin in the driveway.
They were more than glad to be rid of it as they have to pay to put it in the landfill, guess I could claim recycling credits.

Latest project is almost finished: A Tgpps twin hopper grain wagon.
Welded up from lasercut 3mm steel sheet.

The secret is inside:
The roof sections can be lifted off. Front bunker contains charcoal, rear bunker has the barbecue set:

So when the railway session gets a bit longer (as it usually does), just fire up the barbecue.

Wow! That's clever! Just don't mistake it for a wagon with a seat on .....

Brilliant. You just need to marshal it next to Greg's swimming pool.....

Whilst I'm on this thread, an update on the Occre Soller Tram kit I was building which is now finished, but as mentioned earlier in the thread, I still need to motorise it.

That looks superb. You must get the motorisation sorted, it would be criminal not to run that beauty!

That's a beauty!

I'm off on a family holiday to Majorca this summer but it looks like a trip to Soller from where we are would take all day, and I don't think that's what the family have in mind... Probably just as well, having seen yours, I can't see that I'd manage to ride the real thing without also buying an Occre kit...

Thanks to Philip, I am about to start an attempt to motorise my OcCre Lisbon tram kit. I had better do a write up.

I've spent far too long watching Soller Tramway videos since BWLR's post, it really is lovely...
