Rylston Light Railway - another teaser

Those of elephantine memory capacity may recall that the RLR has been without home for some time. Unforeseen circumstances interrupted the best laid plans just as the old track alignment became history. A more sedentary lifestyle had meant that the new alignment has been planned to within an inch of its life. However, I’m not quite yet ready to tackle the heavy landscaping required.
I have rehabilitated to increasingly heavy projects. Currently I’m working on Railway Cottages (the odd side of the street). They are situated on the approach to Rylston Station and are on a gentle falling grade. These are trial shots in natural light to check if they are acting the colours of Dales stonework. Think of the theme music to James Herriot when viewing. It helps the illusion! The roofs and windows are unfinished. The orange is temporary foam support. It is an augmented Pendle Valley kit.
After a couple of years of looking at autoCAD plans it is nice to see some concrete progress, despite no progress on the miniscape into which the cottages fit.
Regards. Andy.
