One problem you get with NOT running trains.................

Image

........... is that the overgrowth has a habit of taking over.............

Image

........... and stops any chance of trains running!

Image

Tunnel? WHAT Tunnel??

Image

It's not just the small stuff- the prostrate juniper encroaches anyway.........

Image

........ as does the ivy - just outside Haddon station

Image

Anyway, out came the cutters and soon track could be seen again.......
Image

...... awaiting the rest of the rebuild before trains can run.

Hmm yes, we ran mine for the first time in 6 weeks today, Raspberry plants needed cutting back a lot!

I'm not looking forward to seeing the Joys of Life Railway tomorrow.
