Battery Connectors
Battery Connectors
I have just tried to send ge-rik a PM and it says ge-rik doesn't exist.
So just in case it's a web clinch, this is what I was trying to send. If any other member can assist it would be very much welcome.......
So sorry to trouble you. I may have asked this question before. I have just got the battery pack out for my RH Billy, and when I have gone to charge it up, can I for the life of me find the charger I had for it.... So I got the Imax B6 charger I have and guess, what it doesn't have the correct connector on it. Me being me with this flipping memory of mine, what type is it that's on the battery pack mate.
These are the connectors,
The white one is for the battery pack. Plus can I get an adapter for the Imax B6.....
Thank you...

Re: Battery Connectors
Hi Rod,
the white connector is a Tamiya connector as used on their range of RC cars, these should be available off-the-shelf from most model shops. I can't help with the others unfortunately.
If you look at www.componentshop.co.uk and select Leads and connectors you will see a huge variety of types available, even custom (made to order) leads.

Re: Battery Connectors
That Tamiya connector looks at bit worse for wear. If you have soldering skills I suggest replacing them with XT30 or Deans connectors. Easily available from Ebay. I've always found the Tamiya connectors to be horrible - bulky and poor contacts that wear out quickly.

Re: Battery Connectors
Thanks, but even though I didn't have the underscore in this thread, it was in the PM I was trying to send to Rik.

Re: Battery Connectors
Thanks Busted, I do have some connectors like the Red one, so I will fit one of them on instead.Busted Bricks wrote: βSat Jul 20, 2019 1:22 pm That Tamiya connector looks at bit worse for wear. Hi Rod
No PM received here. Looks like you've been given the info you need, though.
Only just logged on. Been busy for the last couple of days sorting out our old trailer tent - sewing curtains this pm. A bit different to soldering.....
