I've been experimenting with the fiber laser today to see how small details it could produce. The sign in the picture is sitting on an AA cell and it is only 12mm wide. I'm really impressed.

Ermm, it's 1mm stainless steel. (apologies for not saying - I often forget that many people do not know that a fiber laser is for metal cutting :D )

The web in the letters is only 0.25mm wide (1/100" for those with 12 fingers :D )

Some larger test pieces. They haven't been cleaned so do not looks as crisp as they really are.
