Yes, I thought much the same.
Spooky..... the trees were there at least 15 years before the railway, I must have seen into the future?
Where's the Deloreon....

Sequoia Falls halt on the Crowfoot Light Railway.
This small halt is for the use of tourists and anglers and at the time of the photograph had only rail access.

I was thinking exactly that when I saw the picture and remember the inspiration Andy's gave me in the early days of my interest in this diverse hobby of ours.

Thanks for your kind comments. The tree overhanging is a deciduous conifer Sequoia which we bought when it was on offer in a garden centre. We didn't research how large it was likely to grow till we'd planted it and got to like it.
The grass is a bit of cheat as it is an offcut of artificial grass I was experimenting with.

Hi Andrew, more nice comments - thank you.
Last year wasn't my best starting with having to cancel my open day because of another old man related health matter. :? Didn't seem to get my act together with the railway and it remained just ticking over. I've got a 16mm Ass open day on Sunday 19th May 2019 and have worked hard completing new buildings and some civil engineering work making operation of trains in both directions more practical. Photography of the railway will start again as I use the new buildings and scenics and update my website. (www.crowfootlightrailway.webs.com)

Main street Lilyvale shows the station is centrally located to the Railway Hotel, with the church at the other end of town
A couple of giants in the background and even Skippy got in the pic.

Stunning! The stream now looks like it's been there forever - and the shot is just packed with scenic detail & botanical splendour...
