So many great entries as always, a real treat to see.

Both worthy winners. But it was a tricky choose this time. The standard was very high.

A very high standard of entries this time and I think reflected by the votes being spread out amongst all the photos. I’ll have a think about a theme for the next comp.

...and the winner of the June 2023 Gallery is........... "Spring in West Cornwall" by SteamGeorge. A lovely picture and a clear winner by an unusually high margin, so very well done. In some ways that's a pity because there were some other really lovely shots, but this one obviously struck a particular chord with the voters.


Anyway, all we need now is your theme for the next gallery, please George.

A genuinely inspiring shot, and a well deserved winner.

For me it reminded me of my younger days when we went out on excursions for the day and the weather was good and all the flowers were starting to bloom.

A well balanced and presented image, good enough to make into a greeting card, in my opinion.

Cheers folks! I have to say the credit should go to the builders of the railway for providing the picturesque scene. Not me!

I'm afraid that I have to declare myself the winner of the Dec 2023 Gallery with my picture of A Rural Backwater. Thank you to all who entered and also thank you to all who voted subsequently.
I'll put my thinking cap on and announce the next theme asap.

I voted for yours Rik, wonderful photo, but Philip's moss wins every time...
It was a very tough choice.

So much of a 'rural backwater', it has gone back in time, two years!
