Re: Happy Christmas & New Year 2018
A very happy Christmas and New Year to all readers, it has been an interesting year on the Forum and gone very quickly too.... I guess that is a positive sign, or perhaps I'm just growing old?
Good luck to everyone with new projects for 2019, please remember to show us as you go.
Peter.

PS And the same to you and yours .....
PPS Always thought it was clever planning for Jesus to be born on Christmas Day. Mind you, must have been frustrating he only got one set of presents. I'll bet he wasn't too excited by the myrrh

Seasons greetings from Denmark. Snow is falling at the moment but will likely be replaced by rain soon.
I wish you all the best for 2019. 2018 was not kind to me at all but I remain positive that things will improve in 2019.

Re: Happy Christmas & New Year 2018
Having just finished our Christmas dinner (cooked by my daughter), and imbided in a few glasses of something bubbly, preceded by something called Nigrino (a very new cocktail experience for me), I feel more than a little mellow,
With three generations around the table (97yo mother, 72yo brother and 37 yo daughter (+ 8yo cat of my daughter)), I cannot help but feel that the world is a very pleasant place.
I do hope your Christmas has been half as good as mine. Merry Christmas to one and all.
Rik
PS My best present was the latest book on the Southwold Railway (by Peter Paye). Brilliant!!
