Fantastic work George.. Don't worry about it not being tidy...You have at least got a line down, a lot more than some I can mention...
You have a well thought out line George, the layout looks to work very well. Your little bridge does work well, maybe you can put a little stream in...That seems to be the "On Trend" at the moment....

Re: Wadebridge Light Railway
I think it's about time for an update! The railway has been out of action since February but it has finally been connected up again.
The bridge was rebuilt (you were right Phillipy - I wasn't happy with the bridge - it was more of a temporary arrangement but the new one should suffice!) The section of track through the lawn was laid on a concrete foundation. A level crossing should appear soon along this section and the rest will be hidden with ballast. A steam up was in order test the track: The next week the sidings were returned to the quarry/goods yard. And some plants were added to the opposite end of the railway. The (nearly) completed scene: I hope you enjoy,
George

Yep, that bridge looks much better. well done!
I love the head-on shot of the train approaching the junction, just lovely.

Ditto - you beat me to it Philip.

That's all looking really good - the track looks like it's beautifully laid too, and will give trouble-free running. Just the sort of inspiration I need for a spot of track maintenance this weekend - it looks like perfect ballasting weather!
Looking forward to more pictures soon,
Andrew.

Re: Wadebridge Light Railway
Thanks, it was hard to get a shot without it looking like a building site - hence the low angle.
Cheers, It's always a pain to hand mix concrete but a mixer is not worth the investment.idlemarvel wrote: βTue Jun 25, 2019 8:07 am Enjoy indeed. Nice work on the bridge and concrete embankment.
