Accucraft Baguley Drewery 2018

Mr Accucraft has said the batch due in November 2018 will have a flangeless middle wheelset so will be good for sharp curves.

I have treated myself to an early Christmas present and reserved a track powered one which I will convert myself to R/C with lights and sound.

Anyone looking to order one this year?

I ordered one about 3 years ago and if I hadn't cancelled the order I would be still waiting  Accucraft just push the delivery date back by 6 months twice each year.

Removing the flanges on the middle wheels is something I have considered doing on both of mine. They are fine on radius 3 LGB bends, but radius one, they do slow down some what. If you go to a track that is hand made, some areas of the track can be fairly painful to watch when they have the flanges on.

I am told the latest batch will have flangeless centre wheels.

I did read that in your first post which is why I mentioned it, let's hope that is true :)

Still considering removing them from mine, I have already done it with an IP Jessica but that was easy as I did it before I built it, lol.

That's a good one Rod when it took over a year for you to open your parcel.

Sorry, I didn't mean to play the suspense game but when I opened the box the joy of getting a new loco diminished as it is damaged so dealing with the supplier at the moment.
