I think Only Fools and Horses was ruined when they carried it on after 'Time on there hands' (where they made there millions)

It was the perfect bit to end the show on. Walking off into the sunset saying " This time next year we will be billionares"

My all time favourite is 'M*A*S*H' which I used to video off the BBC in the 1980s. Of course it is now on DVD (sadly with no bonus extras) and I've got them all. Who is the only actor that appeared both in the film 'M*A*S*H' and the series M*A*S*H as the same character.

My next favourite is the BBC's 'Allo Allo', but they have been very slow at releasing this on DVD (a bit like another great series - 'The Simpsons'). Some years ago when I was in London I looked at what cheap tickets I could get for the shows, and spent a very entertaining Matinee watching the stage version of 'Allo Allo'.

Hard to pick favourites as I love most comedy, but if my DVD collection is anything to go by then we could include.

Men Behaving Badly
The Fast Show
Black Books
Spaced
Monty Python
The league of gentlemen
Father Ted.
Dads Army (filmed locally, I'm also a volunteer at Bressingham where the official Dads Army museum is housed)
Only Fools and Horses
The Goodies (there, that show's you how old I am!)

Favourite Stand up comics
Bill Bailey
Peter Kay
Lee evans
Billy Connolly

Paul.S

Was it 'high hopes'? Just googled welsh sitcom and it was one of the programmes that came up, and it was shown in 03/04. Can't say i've ever heard of it! possibly only carried on tv in Wales. Its still going anyway on bbc2 Wales (I think)

Martyn

Edit: Just noticed post a few up from this! Oops, I guess it definitely was high hopes!
