My self and dad went down to Guildford station on Monday morning to watch BR Britannia class 70013 Oliver Cromwell arrive and depart with the Cathedrals Express, and then again to watch it on the return journey to Victoria.
The driver certainly wasnt afraid to give it some welly, andI think we were all quite supprised to see it go quite fastover the viaduct to London road just around the corner from Guildford station.
She sounded good, and could still be heard working into the distance, nearing a mile off.
I was quite supprised to see it doing yet more work, after just finishing a week long (or there abouts) tour across southern Britain.
