Just a quick shout out to Matt Nunn of Harecroft who, after I had a chat with him at Elsecar, has produced personalised sides for his Birkhill Wagons for my line.

Looking forward to receiving them to add to my ever-growing stable of wagons.
As you can see, he's happy to produce these sides at no extra cost (as long as you don't go crazy with the text)

That does look rather good, what a good idea.

Thanks Mark! Hope you enjoy the wagons! And yes, I am more than happy to produce them with lettering for your railway at no extra cost. I always have a stock of the "Birkhill Clay Mine" ones and obviously I now have "CHLR" on file.

Here's what they look like after the CHLR Wagon works have been busy - the first Birkhill off the production line (I just need to darken the inside a tad more)
My first go at riveting with the plastic dots that are Cambrian Rivets!

I agree with Tom, it does look good, and little more weathering will improve it, as you say.

I'll start on one of the older ones first - honest!
They are both on the to do list - No.3 Kenny (pictured) is the CHLR Thunderbird loco for our growing steam (outline) fleet so has to be kept clean and shiny for the fare paying passengers (BS detectors will be spinning everywhere -
)
