thank you still got another evening worth of painting and a bit of wood to add to the front .im also going to add a chimney and iv got to find a smoke generator and a driver.

Great weathering job Jim, like the rolled up canvas on the sides. Just needs the chimney to set it off.

quite chuffed with the canvas its kitchen roll sprayed with pva then white spray paint .yes it needs a chimney iv got a smoke generator on order when that arrives il add the chimney .I also need to get a driver figure

They are wonderful JIm... a most convincing train which looks as though it has worked hard during its life. A mine and associated buildings would make a great line for them to work on.

more rolling stock and I found some very good scale pallets in a shop called tiger .I think the pallets are meant too be used as coasters but are the right scale for 7/8ths and where only 4 pounds for 4 .I also had a few tires from rc cars and some other bits iv made another wagon for my loco too pull

its painted up too look worn/used. im still undecided on how to the roof .im quite enjoying making stuff in 7/8ths scale again iv used an LGB wagon and just make a new top for it that I will screw on

its fantastic stuff having the right glue helps a great deal too .its easy to use and cut and makes a very strong model

thanks peter .gave the waste oil tank a few more coats of black today and have primed the other wagon
