Hi all,
Does anyone know a source for the South African Railways wagons. I'm looking at making some (B's and DZ's mainly)

Swiftsixteen is still listing their SAR hopper wagon to be released soon after the AGM 2016.

Whe should ask him why he has choosen this prototype, id rather have the B and DZ or flat, and when it will be available.

I have the beta kit for Acme (as a bike wagon conversion) but it seems a bit small to me.
Rob does eventually plan on producing the DZ wagon. He is currently focusing on the Ruston diesel (followed by Conway Castle). He has release Natal link and bell couplers in brass.

Acc NGG16 has been widend to accomodate 45mm. Would be nice if the rolling stock is also.
I would fit ACC choppers. I now have european tankers and flat wagons from LGB. One has been fitted with a ACC chopper coupler.

I measured the Accucraft NGG16 and it's approximately 5 - 10% larger than scale.
The reason I think it is too small is because it's smaller in length and width than my Worsley SAR NG V-16 van (too be built); I believe that all general goods stock (and many carriages) use the same basic chassis.
