Hunslet

Post by mightymax » Sun Apr 10, 2016 2:27 am

Hi, today at the 16mm show in Peterborough, there was a stall with a beautiful little hunslet, a cabbed 0-4-0, dinowic version. The model on the stand was already built, remote control battery.the price was out of my league, but the chap did tell me it was available , including chassis, for just over £100 in kit form. Is there anyone who can shed some light on this ? It was a 3D printed I think. Many thanks.

looks like a perfect little llanberis hunslet, my absolute favourite, and just what my little line needs. They look even better up close.

Many thanks BB. I would like to have details of the motor/gearbox, wheels and battery space. I will contact them and pass on the info if others are interested.

These look a rather good loco for the price, and could be made to run simply with a set of batteries, and a couple of switches :D

The instruction video to build the hunslet is here that might give a little more info the mashima motor gears and wheels ect.
