Deltang Rx65b installed in my IP Engineering 'Jessie'

Post by ge_rik » Thu Sep 17, 2015 8:02 pm

I've just installed a Deltang Rx65b in my IP Engineering 'Jessie' loco. She has a Peter Spoerer / DigiSounds soundcard and a headlight so the output pads have been used to trigger the soundcard and power the LED headlight. I've tried to show how this was done in a blog posting ....

and a short video

<object width="640" height="480"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jMVWOxBtY9A?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jMVWOxBtY9A?ve ... n_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="480" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Hope it's of interest

Like this a lot. Just installed my first deltang setup to a HGLW loco. I daresay once you get to grips with how the different functions of the handset work the world is your oyster regarding what sort of functions you have working off of it.

Thanks for this video Rik,

Stewart

Hi Stewart
I'd say the greatest limitation is the number of switches/buttons on the Deltang tx. I know Tony Walsham (of RCS in Oz) - http://www.rcs-rc.com/ has adapted Deltang gear to provide more triggers for sound etc
