The Awchit and Cyder Railway

Given their diet - a grass snake would be a useful addition too. Also if anyone come around the back when it is sunbathing it might scare the you-know-what out of some unwelcome visitors.

The railway is coming along very nicely, I must say!

Nice bit of re-cycling, the grass snake probably would be more friend then foe although I must admit I would not like one in my garden...

Typing this from a Swiss train, I´m glad to inform you that the British grass snake sub-species is called Helvetica, and I don´t think that they referring to the typeface.

all looking very nice, love the Superior train, my curves are too tight ti run mine. The bridge over the pond looks really good. An excellent piece of work and in quick time too

That's not the entire Bowaters train... I'm yet to run the whole consist on my line, partly because a few wagons have been in bits for a while. If I get the chance tomorrow I'll get a few pics of it

The bridge looks a bit empty at present without abutments on either end of the bridge so that's the next thing to do. Plan is to extend the embankment along the side of the shed round to the lift out bridge by means of extending the flowerbed.

Also recently the railway has gained a new locomotive...
