Sure, our democracy isn't perfect - perfect democracy isn't possible. But you only have to look at what's happening in Libya, or Zimbabwe, or Iran, to name just three examples, to realise how much better off we are.
Millions gave or risked their lives in the two World Wars for the freedoms we enjoy. We should be grateful for their sacrifice.
I can assure you that I am immensely grateful for their sacrifice and indeed participate in many charitable events for Normandy Veterans, Royal British Legion (not to mention Help For Heroes - another topic entirely), but, I hate to think of what they would make of todays "free" society
Yes, we're better off than some places around the world, but that is no excuse for how things are going here, sorry, that one doesn't wash with me.

almost 100 percent sure the wall is staying where it is!

Maybe if you made a compartment inside with a pin to jab in when you require sound? you could laser cut it
