thank you for all your comments!
What I am trying to achieve is a scenic garden railway in a small garden. One problem with a small garden surrounded by fences is hiding the fence. Hopefully once the garden matures they will be screned! Hopefully the minature landscape will gain some railway very soon!
All what you see here is what I have learnt from my previous railway, The Bloomfield Light Railway. That was not built as a scenic line, just somewhere to play trains. Later on in its life I tried to make it scenic which didnt really work too well, so what I learnt is making this railway better than the last.

Now that is one tall distant signal!!!
Looking good indeed, can't believe you have not laid track down yet. I'm the other way round, track down build it up after but then again it's my first one so I'm bound to run into issue's.
Nice load of slate as well, water feature sounds good.

Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.
Im just dragging my heals. With being busy with the business it is easy to go out every now and again and do a bit of building. Track will go down before next weekend!

Nice, I will pencil you in shane! I also begrudge laying the track as its all from my old railway, so after being layed for 10 years it all in need of a good sort out!
BTW the signal is a 5" gauge one, but around the scale height of those off the corris. Some of their signals where tall so they could bee seen over the tops of the houses around corris
