He seemed to have a niche market, I wonder if anyone will fill the void?
What can you do with a Mamod Loco.....

Narrow Minded

Spule 4
Better than the asbestos lining of the old days....had a 3.5" steam loco with a jacket of that...
As for starting again where Alan had left off, CAD drawings and access to CNC cutting equipment would be the needed steps. Unfotunately, I have not done any CAD work since the 1990s and the few contacts I have that do any forms of CNC metal cutting don't do it cheaply!

Margaret and Rebecca are delightful! Your conversions and enhancements are very inspiring to see Peter and really go to show just what can be done with Mamod and MSS locos. Where did you get Margaret's dome btw? It's a beautiful dome and Margaret looks so good wearing it
At first I didn't even realise that Rebecca was a Mamod because you have transformed her so much. Marvellous craftsmanship.
I was wondering how you would get a driver onto Rebecca's footplate until I saw the mod that you'd done to the driver figure. Must've been painful for the poor chap though

Hi Annie - thank you for the positive comments on my modified Mamods.
Unfortunatley I do not think these parts are availble anymore
Also the driver figure on REBECCA is made this way especially to fit on the in-line lubricators as fitted on Roundhouse models:
